Mobile Healthcare
Practicing the Art of Wellness doesn't end at the edge of our campus. We're committed to taking our message of good health into the community and talking to people we don't normally see in the hospital.
We have three primary ways of practicing the art of mobile healthcare:
Teaching children how to care for their teeth is so important to us that we take that message to schools in 10 towns around the Seacoast area. Why? Research has shown that poor oral health affects overall learning, and that children with chronic dental pain are unable to focus andshow a deterioration in school performance.
The Mobile Dental Van has provided dental screening, cleaning, and fluoride treatments to children K-5 since 2002. A classroom educational component teaches students about total body care in relation to proper oral hygiene.

Care without compromise . . . for everybody in the community.
Exeter Hospital's Mobile Medical Van is an integral part of our effort to increase access to care for those in our community who are uninsured or underinsured. This impressive vehicle is a 37-foot health clinic on wheels — equipped with a wheelchair lift, exam room, and consultation area.
Services on the Van include free screenings, medical care, and health-related information for both children and adults in the greater Seacoast area. Also offered are healthcare clinics for seniors, including screenings, referrals, and health education.
For more information about the Mobile Medical Van and the services it offers, call 1-800-4-EXETER (1-800-439-3837).

Exeter Hospital's mobile digital mammography van is offering the most innovative and accurate technology for detecting breast abnormalities. Digital mammography provides huge benefits over traditional mammography, including shorter exam times, increased comfort, lower radiation, and fewer repeat mammograms due to its greater accuracy.
Women now can avail themselves of the latest mammography technology, the same standard of care that we provide at Exeter Hospital’s Center for Breast Health, at convenient locations - close to work and home. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 1-888-2-EXETER.
