James H. Dolan trained as a nurse before his uncle convinced him of the satisfactions of a career in podiatry. "I particularly enjoy two aspects of the practice," Dr. Dolan says. "Most of the problems we treat can be fixed in a visit or two, and we can treat them painlessly." With patients who have corns, calluses or other recurring problems, Dr. Dolan enjoys the relationships he establishes as he provides regular, preventive care.
Dr. Dolan and his wife, Mary Pat, are raising two children. The family skis together - cross country and downhill - and Dr. Dolan skis the back country with friends.
